In this article, we provide a list of action items to prepare your organization for a smooth integration.
Ahead of starting your CRM integration with GovSpend, we recommend bringing the below action items back to your teams so we can hit the ground running when you're ready to get started.
- Review our security document. We partner with a third party called Prismatic for CRM integration, and this document gives you an overview of their security and privacy practices. This should be shared with your IT and Salesforce teams.
- Brief your Salesforce administrator and ensure they're on board. This process requires buy-in from your administrator(s) and sometimes a time commitment, depending on how involved they want to be.
- Consider enabling single sign-on. We find that SSO creates a smoother integration experience. Reach out to your Relationship Manager or contact support@govspend.com to get started.
- Start building a list of GovSpend data you want to integrate. Some things to consider when building this list:
- Which GovSpend search modules are your sales and marketing teams using most? How are they using them?
- What kind of KPIs do your leaders like to see? Can GovSpend data help calculate those?
- Schedule a meeting with your Relationship Manager to talk through the process and ensure you're ready.
