# October 2024: Search Dashboard and Bids Enhancements
## This article reviews product enhancements released in October 2024. Read on to review these enhancements, how to find them, and where to learn more.
#### Search Dashboard: Add Multiple Searches to Your Dashboard At Once!
Dashboard creation just got easier! You can now select and add multiple searches to your Dashboard at once! Not only does this benefit customers, but will help streamline the process of setting up Dashboards for Trials and new customers.
**How to Find It:**
- Navigate to the Search Dashboard via the left navigation menu
- Click the empty tile with the ‘+’ icon to add a search to your dashboard
- Use the checkboxes to the left of the search names to select the searches you want to add to your Dashboard
- Once you’ve selected your searches click “**Add X Searches**”
- Your searches will all be added as individual tiles on your Dashboard
- The gear icon associated with each tile functions the same and can be used to move your search tiles and customize their position on your dashboard

#### Saved Searches Page: "Type" Column
The search “Type” column on the Saved Searches page is now next to the search name. This makes it easier to reference the type of search (i.e. Bids, Spending, etc.) which can influence how you configure alerts for that search.
- Navigate to the [**Saved Searches page**](https://app.govspend.com/alerts) via the left navigation menu
- Observe that “**Type**” is now moved a few columns to the left, to the left of alert settings
- This is the default setting, you can still customize the organization of columns using the 3 dot menu in each column and “Move Right/Move Left”
#### Bids & RFP's: Improved Table Formatting on Bid Detail Pages
We know the formatting of data within a Bid Details page can sometimes be difficult to read. We are taking action to improve formatting, starting with some of the tables that we frequently see so you can more easily interpret the data quickly.
How to Find It:
- This update is available in the [**Bids & RFP’s Module**](https://app.govspend.com/bids) via the left navigation menu
- Click the Bid description to navigate to a bid details page. - Scroll to the bottom of the details page to see the improved table formatting
#### Bids & RFP's: View Historical Files
You can now view both current and historical files for any bid record. We’ve added a new “Historical Files” tab with all files (current and historical) for that bid displayed with date and time the file was uploaded.
**How to Find It:**
- Navigate to the [**Bids & RFP’s Module**](https://app.govspend.com/bids) via the left navigation menu
- Perform a search to filter your results
- Refer to the “Documents” column and find a record with documents

- Click the “**Historical Files**” tab to see ALL historical and current files for that bid ordered by the date they were added - most recent files displayed first
#### GovSpend Federal: Sam Opportunities Document Search Capabilities
Document search is now supported for Sam Opportunities within GovSpend Federal! Search across documents for keyword matches and view the text snippets with keyword highlighting on the SAM Opportunities detail pages.
How to Find It:
- Navigate to the [**Open Opportunities search**](https://app.govspend.com/federalSamOpportunity?alertId=64219a04dd7473003013cef9&title=Open%20Opportunities%20Search)in GS Federal
- Enter in a keyword in the main search bar, for example “maintenance”
- Click the 3 dot menu next to any header in your results table and add the field “**Number of Documents**” to your results
- Find a result that has documents and click the **Solicitation ID** or **Title** to navigate to the **Sam Opportunities Detail** page
- In the details section you will see a new display for the associated attachments/files to match the presentation in Bids & Contracts
- Text snippets along with the associated keyword highlighting will display for each applicable file
***Note:*** *Documents are currently only included in the main search bar search.*
