      Search API

      This article reviews how to generate an API key within GovSpend as well as the API's available for use.

      Generating Your API Key

      API keys are generated within the GovSpend platform. Follow the below steps to generate your API key. Note that you must be an Account Admin to generate an API key. For a review of the various roles and permissions reference Admin Settings and User Management.

      • Click on 'Account' in the top right-hand corner of GovSpend.

      • Click on 'API Keys' in the right navigation menu.

      • Towards the top-right of the screen, click on 'Create API Key'.

      • Type in the name of the API key. Then, choose to have it copied for you automatically and click 'Submit' when done.
