April 2025: GovSpend AI Chat in Bids & Meeting Intelligence

This article reviews product enhancements released in April 2025. Read on to review these enhancements, how to find them, and where to learn more.

GovSpend AI Chat in Bids & RFPs

As a fast follow to our last release in Bids (release notes here), we've added the ability in GovSpend AI for you to enter your own custom questions about a bid record. In addition to that, your chat will be saved for future reference!

How to Find It

  • Navigate to Bids & RFPs
  • Click any Bid Description to navigate to a Bid Details page
  • Click the purple GovSpend AI  button in the top right

  • You'll notice that there's now a chat input bar at the bottom of the panel and a new section on the left where your chat history will be displayed.

  • Use the chat input to enter a custom question about the Bid record you're viewing, and continue to chat!

  • You'll have access to any custom chat you've created across all bid records along with the ability to rename and delete your chats.

Note: All responses are based on context provided in that specific bid record only, including any associated documents. No external information is used to generate responses.

GovSpend AI in Meeting Intelligence

We've taken the prompt and chat functionality of GovSpend AI and added that to Meeting Intelligence! Get quick insights about a meeting record, including meeting attendees, vendor discussions, and upcoming bids, or ask your own question!

How to Find It

  • Navigate to Meeting Intelligence
  • Click any Meeting Title to navigate to a Meeting Details page
  • Click the purple GovSpend AI  button in the top right

  • Similar to Bids, you'll see a set of preset prompts related to Meetings that you can click to generate an immediate response, or you can use the custom chat input to enter in your own question.

  • Access your chat history for any meeting record from the left chat panel and use the 3 dots to rename or delete your chat.
